The Hulu Dance
May 21, 2008 by admin.
I feel obliged to point out that our take on Hulu is bearing out quite nicely. As we had previously written in Dec 2007 http://tristateventuresblog.com/?s=hulu we strongly believed in Hulu’s model ( and in all models where the content providers have ownership) . Unlike Venture Beat here http://venturebeat.com/2007/12/26/hulu-launches-private-beta-faces-challenge/ which clearly did not. Well it seems we were right. Hulu, according to Nielson is now among the top vidoe sites on the web. That got me thinking that its that type of commen sense analysis that is lacking some or most of the time and venturing needs to be a bit more active. So it will be….. at least for now…
